Powerful – Telescope

James Webb’s journey in search of history

The world’s most powerful telescope has been launched into space, ushering in a new era in space exploration. Built at a cost of 1 thousand crore dollars, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is considered one of the most important and promising scientific projects of the 21st century.

The James Webb Telescope launched from the Kouru Space Center in French Guiana at 12:20 pm GMT on Saturday. With the European Ariane rocket, it will be launched into orbit in less than half an hour. JWST rolled into the shell of the Aryan 5 rocket. After reaching space, the work of the telescope did not end with the separation from Aryan 5, but only then the most important and complex part of the whole mission will begin. JWST has gradually adjusted itself from the folded state, and the whole mission can be ruined by the slightest noise.

NASA scientists say that this ‘James Webb’ of the 21st century will create a new milestone in space research. The web is a global mission in the words of NASA manager Bill Nelson. This is an example of how much we can achieve by dreaming big.

The main feature of this new telescope is a reflecting mirror – which is 6.5 meters wide. This giant mirror has a gold coating on the back. It is about three times larger and 100 times more powerful than the current Hubble Space Telescope. It is named after one of the architects of the Apollo lunar mission in the United States.
