★1.Napoleon Bonaparte

Napoleon Bonaparte was the famous general and emperor of France. One of the most influential people in European history. Then the French Revolution peaked. He was able to establish a single dominance in the French Revolution. His tactics caught everyone’s eye. Napoleon was then a general. The rise of the warrior Napoleon was at that time. He was the emperor of France.

He was called the “child of the French Revolution.” The deportation of the great hero Napoleon Bonaparte is one of the most talked about events in history. This victorious hero spent his days in exile here till the last moment of his life. Napoleon Bonaparte died in exile on the island of St.Helena on May 5, 1821. Napoleon’s death certificate stated that he had died of stomach cancer. But everything changes when new information comes to the fore. Three weeks before his death, Napoleon wrote a will. “I am dying prematurely, I was killed by the British regime and their assassins,” he said. The idea is that Napoleon was poisoned very deliberately. Napoleon’s body was exhumed for a solemn funeral in Paris in 1840, 19 years after his death. Napoleon’s body was in relatively good condition at that time. Some scientists say that Napoleon’s body did not decompose normally because of the application of arsenic as a poison. However, the mystery of Napoleon’s death has been discussed for years, but the mystery has never been solved.

★2.Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela is the first democratically elected president of South Africa. The people of South Africa affectionately call her ‘Madiba’. He served as President from 1994 to 1999. Earlier he took part.  In the anti-apartheid movement. Another burning example is the exile of a former South African president and anti-apartheid leader. Before being elected President of South Africa, he spent his life in exile in a South African prison on charges of armed revolution. Even after this he did not compromise with racism. He was finally released on February 11, 1990. Even after this he continued his fight against racism. He represented his party in peace talks with the white South African government.

As a result, apartheid came to an end in South Africa. Democracy was established in South Africa in 1994 with the participation of people of all races. Mandela was elected President of South Africa in 1994. He has become a living legend in the history of the world by showing signs of non-violence even after 27 years of exile in a prison cell.

★3.The Dalai Lama of Tibet

The Dalai Lama is the spiritual head of Tibet. He is the supreme ruler of the Tibetan constitution. He is a person of royal status in Tibet. The current fourteenth Dalai Lama is Tenzin Giyasu. After the annexation of Tibet by China, the 14th Dalai Lama, along with some of his followers, secretly left the country and came to India in 1958 and took refuge there. He has won the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution to peace in Tibet. The present Dalai Lama was born into a peasant family in the village of Taksar in the northeastern province of Amdo, Tibet. The two-year-old boy was initially selected by the country’s senior religious leaders as the Dalai Lama and the country’s administrator. The Dalai Lama’s family name is Tenzin Giyasu. After that, his studies were arranged in a Buddhist monastery under the supervision of senior religious leaders. He later earned a doctorate in Buddhist philosophy. Due to his charismatic personality, calm majestic figure, smiling face, peace of mouth and non-violence, etc., he is now not only a religious leader of Tibetans, but also a person who is respected by people all over the world. He has visited more than 50 countries of the world one or more times so far.

The one who started his foreign tour in 1967 still exists today. He is often seen meeting or sometimes chatting with statesmen from around the world, including Canada, the United States and Europe. Besides, he participated in important discussions in various seminars at the invitation of world renowned universities. He was also seen giving important speeches in seminars of Zanderel scientists and researchers from different countries. He has also been awarded honorary doctorates from several universities.

His fourth novel, Satanic Verses, or The Devil’s Word, shocked the whole world. The Satanic Verses of this author of Indian descent were published in 1988. It hurts the religious feelings of Muslims. The book was burned and the bookstore was set on fire. Ayatollah Ali Khomeini, Iran’s religious leader, issued a fatwa against him, and the British government sent him into police custody. From there he is living in exile in New York.

★6.Aristotle

The Greek philosopher Aristotle is one of the few people in the ancient world who did not know about it. His marvelous contributions in almost all branches of science have made him one of the most influential figures of all time. After the death of his former student Alexander the Great in 323 BC, he went into voluntary exile from Athens.

At that time the Athenian legislature declared war on Antipon, Alexander’s successor. Aristotle was considered anti-Athenian, anti-Macedonian and so he was charged with misconduct. As a result, Aristotle did not return to Athens and spent the rest of his life in the city of Charles. Where Aristotle died in 322 BC at the age of 63 from a fatal disease.

Lord Byron is one of the most talked about poets of all time in English literature. Byron was very messy in his personal life. It is difficult to calculate how many times in life, how many people have fallen in love. Which once became black in the life of this famous poet. Lord Byron was forced into exile because of his character. The poet was forced to leave his hometown due to immoral relations and other scandals with a distant sister. And allegations of sexual harassment against him could have pushed him to his death.

For these reasons he took refuge in Geneva, Switzerland from England. One of Lord Byron’s ex-girlfriends, once annoyed by his unbridled romance, publicly declared Byron “insane, evil and dangerous.”

★8.Casanova

The term Casanova is known around the world as ‘cosmopolitan’. He was born into a very ordinary family in Venice. The full name is Giacomo Girolamo Casanova. Famous historian and diplomat Giocomo Casanova was born and raised in Italy. Casanova had to choose life in exile.  He was deported from Venice prison in 1756. After spending a few days in exile in Europe, he returned home.

But after a satirical writing, Casanova once again fell victim to the government’s coup d’tat and then left the country to live in exile again. In his long life of 73 years he has traveled to many countries including France, Germany, England, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia.

★9.Voltaire

The philosopher Voltaire had to face a very difficult danger due to the intense criticism of the king and his confidants through his writings. As he continued to write against the king, he was sent into exile in England. He was deported to England without trial in 1726 due to his conflict with the aristocracy. While there in exile for three years, he studied Lok, Newton and the British government system. In his personal life he was very stubborn and idealistic. He did not compromise on expressing his views and other issues.

Voltaire’s special achievement was his extraordinary eloquence and philosophical deception. Voltaire was famous for his stand on civil liberties, freedom of religion and justice.

★10.Oscar Wilde

The deportation of Oscar Wilde is heartbreaking. This Irish poet and writer had to be imprisoned and there he slowly died. He later left England, changed his name and religion and went into exile in Paris. This exile had a profound effect on his writing and later life. This exile from Oscar Wilde is a great example of the exile of writers. The famous poet was born in Dublin, Ireland. He has also written many short stories. He was also a member of the Freemasons Society. He became one of the most successful playwrights in Victorian London.

He gained immense fame through his clever playwriting. However, a successful trial ended his success and he was imprisoned for large-scale obscenity and homosexuality. The Irish playwright, novelist and poet died in Paris at the age of 46.

★11.T. S. Eliott

TS Eliott’s deportation was also voluntary. The poet Eliott left his homeland for the comfort of his own thoughts and ideas. This deportation brought a positive change in his career. Because of his exile, he became acquainted with the poet Azra Pond, and his influence was felt in all his later life. TS Eliott’s full name is Thomas Stern’s Elliott.  Basically, he is known in the world as a poet.

However, he also gained fame as an essayist, publisher, playwright, literary and social critic. The name TS Eliott reflects the post-World War I post-war, decaying society. His name has become synonymous with an era as he was able to present the real picture of the people and society of that time in full in his literary works, especially in poetry. TS Elliott, a world-renowned poet and writer, was born on September 26, 1888 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

★12.Benazir Bhutto

The world’s first Muslim woman Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. He became the Prime Minister of Pakistan at the age of 35. Benazir, daughter of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Much of his political career has been spent in exile in London and Dubai. He was under house arrest for three years before going into exile.

Benazir Bhutto, the first female prime minister of the Muslim world, had to live in exile for political reasons. Even then, he regularly attended lectures and lectures in Britain. Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto returned to Karachi in October 2007 after nearly eight years in exile. On the day of his return home, bomb blasts took place in different parts of Karachi. Then Benazir Bhutto was killed. His body was buried in the family cemetery in his hometown Ghari Khoda Box. Before her death, Benazir was hoping to return to power for the third time in a 2008 election.
