★1.Big B from Inquilab


The name of which is ‘Inquilab’, which means the one who has only fiery deeds and personality in his mind and heart, he is the king of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan. The real name is Inquilab Srivastava. His honorary name in the movie is Big B, meaning Big Bachchan.

★2.Career


Amitabh Bachchan first took a job at a shipping company called Blacker & Co. in Kolkata. The salary was 300 rupees. He later resigned at the age of 20 to become an actor. He made his silver screen debut in 1969 with ‘Sat Hindustani’. Received the National Film Award for Best New Actor for this film. In 1973, he established himself in Bollywood as an angry young man in the film ‘Zanjeer’ and gained the reputation of ‘Angry Youngman’.

Amitabh is considered one of the best and most influential actors in Indian and world cinema. He won five National Awards, five Filmfare Awards and five International Awards. The Government of India awarded Padma Shri in 1984, Padma Bhushan in 2001 and Padma Bhushan in 2015. In 2007, the French government awarded him the title of Legion of the Knight. Fransois Trafo, a French film critic and director who dominated Indian cinema in the 1970s and 1980s, called him the “One Man Industry”.

He was seen in two films in 1975 which will be remembered in the history of Hindi cinema. He won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for Yash Chopra’s ‘Diwar’. The film was a huge success at the box office in 1975, finishing fourth. Diva is one of the first 25 unforgettable Bollywood films according to the India Times Movies list. The same year, Sholay, released on 15 August 1975, was hailed as the best commercially successful film of all time in India. In 1999, BBC India declared the film the “Best Picture of the Millennium”.

He is a successful host of the TV game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. When the show started, the streets of many countries, not just India, became almost deserted to see Amitabh’s magical performance.

 He entered politics in the 1980s and was elected to the Indian Parliament from 1984 to 1987.

In 1979, Mr. Natwarlal made his film debut. He then sang in several film songs including Lawarish, Silsila, Maya Azad Hu, Mahan, Bagban, Shamitav and also gained popularity as a singer.

Amitabh Bachchan is famous for his serious, baritone voice.  Renowned film director Satyajit Ray was so impressed with Bachchan’s voice that he cast him as a commentator in his film Shataranj Ke Khiladi.
